Caring for your Dillon

To clean shoes with a soft-bristled brush and dry detergent:

Remove loose dirt with a soft cloth.
Mix a little water with the white dry detergent
Use soft-bristled brush, dipped in water to gently scrub shoes.
Gently wipe away excess detergent with a dry cloth.
Repeat until satisfied.
Air dry shoes completely.

Please note:

White shoes can get dirty! Please use dry detergent as needed.
We do not recommend putting the Dillon in the washing machine or dryer.

FAQs

Do you ship internationally?

We do! We’ve sold Xero Shoes to people in more than 85 countries around the world.
We use the US Postal service to send our shipments. The cost to ship will depend on the weight of the package and the delivery speed you select; several options will be provided at checkout.

All domestic shipments come with tracking. Limited tracking is available for some first class international shipments depending on the country, and full tracking is available with all Priority Express and Express International shipments.

Though almost all of our international orders arrive without incident, we strongly advise you to select Priority Express International or Express International if you live in a country with a less reliable postal service, including (but not limited to) India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and Indonesia. We cannot guarantee delivery of packages shipped using First Class International.

International delivery can take anywhere from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on how long your order spends in customs at the border.

Please note that some countries do require the payment of import duties for international shipments above a certain value. We advise you to know the import regulations of your country and understand that you will be responsible for payment of any duties and fees imposed by your government at the border.

All packages will be marked as merchandise; as a commercial shipper, we are not able to mark a package as a gift (if you’re giving Xero Shoes as a gift, that’s not the same as us sending a gift).

This review will be long, it’s important for someone who might want to purchase these shoes to know how I arrived at Xero. I had never heard of barefoot shoes nor would not have been interested but after an accident in high heel shoes in 2013 and many visits to the orthopedist, many pairs of shoes that start with H and many pairs of custom orthotics I still couldn’t walk. One day about two months ago, I was walking my dog, when I noticed my feet were struggling to stay centered in my walking shoes (not my xero walking shoes) I became aware that my shoes and orthotics might be making matters worse. The knuckle on my big toe was in pain, my shins hurt and the right side glute was always in pain. I’m 61 active, love to walk, pilates, and yoga for 45 years. I could see the my future wasn’t looking so good for my lifestyle. I live in Italy part time and we walk all over and for everything. No car. That day, the day I was walking my dog, I became upset and took all of my orthotics and walking/running shoes, threw them in a bag and donated them. I went to REI and perused the shoe isle. I was immediately attracted to the xero shoes because they looked very compact for travel.I didn’t know what they were or the brand, I was just looking at how think they were. The sales person guided me away and back to the H shoes and OC shoes. I said, no, I feel like I want to try something different.So I walked out with my xero shoes not knowing anything about them. I came home put them on and walked my dog. Interesting feeling I thought. I didn’t realize there is a learning curve for these shoes. A week later I took them to Italy. The cobblestones and seven mile walking days hurt my joint. I finally did a deep dive on them and understood I needed to give myself ten minutes a day in my new shoes to get acclimated. So I backed off. I changed my stride, made it shorter. I walked slowly and stuck my heal less, I bounced on the balls of my foot more and payed attention to how I was moving and how I was standing. In the other shoes, I had conditioned myself to standing on the sides of my feet. My arch became week and my ankles weaker. Its been two months, I have two pair of Xero shoes now and am still in my learning curve but I no longer have an angry knuckle and hurt arch. My ankles are getting stronger and my glutes don’t hurt. All is well now and I’m grateful. My gait thanks Xero. And to be clear, I’m not a runner, but love to walk and walk farrrrrr I feel I have my life back. I also use the Joseph Pilates foot stretcher to help as I am learning the new way and moving away from all that padding that is destroying our bodies. Thank you.

Shoes that feel good on my feet

I’ve been a wide toe box gal for several years. These shoes are the perfect balance of barefoot feel with just enough cushioning. Bonus: they don’t look like clown shoes on my feet! My hope is Xero Shoes continues to be in business for as long as I need shoes for my feet!!

Love them!

I love these shoes. I know my feet are in a lot better shape just by switching to barefoot! My only issue is the size difference in just half sizes. Size 7 my toes were at the top of my shoe, size 7.5 they are a whole fingers width below the top. I feel like my feet are a little floppy with so much space, but I would rather space than tight and hurting my feet. The whole reason I switched is for a wider toe and to let my toes spread!

Awesome shoes!

I LOVE it! I always wanted pink casual shoes but they were never wide enough. I ordered 8.5 and 9 and went with the 8.5 and I think there is still a little bit of room in the ankle area where you tie the laces. But they feel amazing!
